Yes, you heard it right, after Nintendo Co., Ltd. one of the most well-known video game companies in the world launched ‘Pokémon Go’ an augmented reality game, its share price started rising tremendously.


The augmented reality game which was developed by Nintendo Co Ltd, in collaboration with Niantic Inc and Pokemon Company International, was introduced last week in Australia and New Zealand apart from the US.

According to reports, since the launch of Pokémon Go, the share price of the Japanese video game developer (Nintendo) has increased more than 50%.

According to reports, Nintendo which owns stakes both in Niantic and Pokémon Co. is expected to launch an optional device later this month in order to increase the safety of the players. This additional hand-held device by Nintendo may coast approximately $35.

As far as the safety of the players is concerned, authorities in the US are alerting them that they should be aware of their location or surrounding while playing the game. In addition to that, players are strictly recommended not to play Pokémon Go while driving.

The reports indicate that according to App Annie, which is nothing but a data-analysis company, Pokémon Go is one of the most downloaded apps.

As the app is becoming more and more popular among the users in Australia, New Zealand, and the US, the issues related to security breach are also coming into the picture.

The reports indicate that the Google account of the people who have downloaded this game can be easily accessed by the app, which is really disturbing. It is a clear sign of security breach, which should be taken seriously.
