Pokémon GO & Pokémon GO Plus for Android & iOS

The Pokémon Company and Niantic, an Augmented-Reality mobile game company are launching the Pokémon GO & Pokémon GO Plus for Android & iOS operating systems. The Japanese multinational consumer electronics company Nintendo is working with the development and manufacture of the companion Pokémon GO Plus.

The Pokémon GO is coming in with the Augmented Reality as its base. The App will be available for download on your Android smartphone or iPhone. The new thing is – you can play this game in the real world through augmented reality. The Pokémon GO players can locate, catch, battle and trade Pokémon. They would also be able to connect with the nearby Pokémon GO players.

John Hanke, founder of Niantic, says, “For the first time, Pokémon will roam free in the real world. Pokémon GO will allow players to capture Pokémon who inhabit parks, shopping areas, sidewalks and the countryside all around the world. Imagine discovering a Squirtle hiding along the waterfront in San Francisco, a Bulbasaur at Shinjuku Station or a Pikachu beneath the Eiffel Tower”.

Pokémon GO Plus

Pokémon GO Plus is a hardware device that can be worn like a watch. Pokémon GO Plus device will enhance enjoyment of the augmented reality games. It is developed and manufactured by Nintendo.


This device will help the players play without looking at their mobile phones and still enjoy the interesting and engaging game. It helps users experience the events happening in the real world.


The free Pokémon GO  App will be available on Google Play and Apple Store on November 20. Whereas the dates of Pokémon GO Plus launch has not been announced yet.
