However, the US-based Fidelity Investments – one of the biggest providers of financial services across the world, is looking forward to this tech beyond entertainment.

The company which is headquartered in Boston has always aimed at offering quality financial services to clients, and perhaps that’s the reason it’s using virtual reality for making them understand their financial investments in an even better way so that they can take informed decisions while investing their hard earned money.

According to reports, the research and development wing of the company called the Fidelity Labs has come up with a stunning proof of concept (PoC) with the assistance of virtual reality which makes it quite simple for investors to go ahead with unmatched retirement plans.

In other words, the proof of concept that’s being developed by the Fidelity Labs helps investors to communicate with their money in a more comprehensive manner.

The proof of concept created by the R&D wing of the company takes the support of a cityscape when it comes to exhibiting how businesses can encourage their employees to go for better retirement plans.

The reports also suggest that the R&D wing of the company has been experimenting with Oculus Rift- a virtual reality headset owned by tech giant Facebook when it comes to mutating the investors” portfolios into a stunning city that provides comprehensive information as far as stocks are concerned. In this care virtual reality is used for conveying the information about the stocks, VR brings the employers in a huge auditorium wherein their employees stand in front of them virtually.

Anyone wearing the headset will be able to identify how the money has been allocated to the employees on the basis of things like age.

According to Sean Belka, who is the Director of Fidelity Labs, the use of virtual reality will help the businesses to refine their retirement savings plans. In addition to that, it will also help their employees to make highly informed decisions while investing their money.
