In a general way my objective at work is to strive for excellence in both of the following 2 things:
1. Being an effective creative leader — building & nurturing creative teams while still pushing the work and the people doing it.
2. Building and extending brands & campaigns — always with one simple objective: To delight their audiences (creatively & strategically.)
The work I've done against those two simple objectives has taken myriad forms — from integrated campaigns & identity programs to augmented reality games and iPhone apps. On the whole, it's been a pleasure to do said work for mega-brands like Anheuser-Busch, Target, 3M, Mayo Clinic, Best Buy, Polaris Industries & Microsoft.
My work has been recognized locally and nationally from publications including Communication Arts, HOW and Forbes, as well as respected industry competitions, including The One Show, Adobe Systems’ Site of the Day & the Addy Awards. I have been a featured speaker at industry events, colleges & universities including the University of Minnesota, St. Thomas University, Miami Ad School, College of Visual Arts (CVA), Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), Advertising Federation of Minnesota (AdFed) and the American Advertising Federation (AAF.)
